The "Home" Collection, Part 1

There's no place like home, right? I think we've all had that notion in our heads since we were little after watching Dorothy Gale quote that infamous sentence on The Wizard of Oz. For me, home is many places. I was born up north but moved down to North Myrtle Beach, SC, when I was a kid. After amazing childhood/teenage years on the beach, I decided to attend the University of South Carolina in Columbia, and have been here now for almost 8 years (I had a short 2 year stint in NC as well). The first part of the home series is focused on none other than North Myrtle Beach, Little River, and Calabash- the three towns I spent most of my time at in my youth. 

I hope these paintings bring you as much joy as they did for me while creating them. And to my fellow North Myrtle Beach HS alumni- "Once a Chief, Always a Chief!"
